Welcome, friends!

I'm Susan, a naturalist, photographer, and visual storyteller. My artistry is deeply rooted in my love for the natural world and the interconnectedness of place-based kinship. From the grandeur of Tahoma to the vast sagebrush steppe of the Columbia Plateau, my journey has been filled with wild reverence and nature embodiment. The desert Southwest also holds a special place in my heart, inspiring both my poetry and photography.

Through my work, I strive to evoke a sense of place and belonging, inviting you to immerse yourself in the beauty of our shared landscapes. By actively participating in conversations that embrace the concept of 'belonging in a world of relations,' we have the power to cultivate a sense of community within ourselves, each other, and in the world around us. Will you join me?

With you in wonder,

SW
